Upper Michigan
A thoughtfully crafted workplace showcasing design, detail, and collaboration.
Somerville Architects + Engineers designed a new headquarters in Green Bay, WI, to showcase their design capabilities, promote collaboration, and provide a modern workspace for their employees. Completed in late 2025, the sustainable, employee-owned firm’s facility features a modern design, an abundance of natural light, and views of the adjacent Fox River. The design included a blend of contemporary and traditional styles with natural stone, brick, and wood-look metal panels. ALC participated in many of the custom finishes throughout the project.
ALC understood that the project was to serve as a ‘showroom’ of sorts for Somerville to showcase design elements and various finishes to potential clients. We always treat our projects with a high level of care and attention to detail, but knowing the end user’s goal of this building being the centerpiece of their capabilities, it added an extra level of scrutiny to our teams’ responsibilities.
