Transformative redevelopment bringing housing, commerce, and innovation together.
The Fox Commons project in downtown Appleton, WI, began with demolition of the former City Center Plaza in August 2023. The development included adding Lawrence University student housing, medical offices (Mosaic Family Health/Prevea), and commercial spaces within. The project also included mixed-use space featuring retail, food, and the Lawrence University Business and Entrepreneur Center.
ALC endured extreme climate/humidity challenges on site; along with an aggressive schedule and seemingly constant blueprint challenges. Due to many of the existing building conditions being largely unknown before construction, the project experienced many changes and delays to address those remodel conditions.
